Designer Rahul Reddy showcased three distinct lines in a single showing on Day One the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week. The first segment was inspired by the millions of people who live on the streets in Delhi and how the one or two garments they own are carried off with such ease and originality; the second segment had the theme of Samurai warriers and their ability to remain calm even in the eye of a stormy battle; and the third segment was a fusion of the first two.
Look closer at this skirt -- it actually is cut like an inverted waistcoat!
Crinkled yellow
The very epitome of summer, a casual shirt dress shows off a sunny hue and side pockets.
Chalk it out
How about that? A chalked out print of a blouse, skirt and pockets adorn the front of a simple white number.
Striping along
Model Nethra Raghuraman strikes a pose in a simple white self-striped outfit with a patch of rich orange to jazz things up.
All bundled up
Reddy puts an unbelievably high collar on Michelle Innes' otherwise simple tangy outfit -- funky or foolish, the choice is yours.
Upside down
We see another inverted shirt-style pattern on this next one -- getting kind of cliched now, isn't it?
