Designer Suneet Varma tied up with toiletries brand Fiama De Wills for the finale on Day Four of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week.
The inspiration behind his line was Tchaikovsky's classic operatic ballet Swan Lake and the showing also heralded the launch of Fiama's new gel bathing bars. The outfits were dramatic, luxurious and were collectively titled The Life of a Swan-Swan Lake. Bollywood starlet Amrita Rao did the showstopping honours.
Not surprisingly, things got off to a start with a professional ballet performance that left everyone waiting for more.
Spellbinding entry
Then came what we all were waiting for. Bhawna Sharma kickstarted things in this slinky white jumpsuit, complete with tulle overcoat and headgear.
Tassel thrill
Next we have model Jesse Randhawa in this riveting tasselled ensemble.
Bridal oomph
Looking very much like she was walking down the aisle was Lisa Haydon in this gorgeous gold and white floor-sweeping gown.
Passionate pink
Things took a colourful turn with this shredded pink sari, worn by Sanea Sheikh.
In the same vein
Varma then applied the same concept to a smashing churidaar kurta with tasselled dupatta.
Ethnic elegance
Marianna Dias twirls in a green and blue ethnic number showing off intricate embroidery.
Ruffles galore
Standing tall in a ruffled lace ghagra choli was Alesia Raut.
Mysterious black
The designer switches his palette once more, opting this time for timeless black.
Pastel pleasure
Binal Trivedi looks regal in a silk and tulle pastel outfit, adorned by a tiny floral motif at the skirt.
Celeb quotient
Amrita Rao provided the celeb quotient in a peach and gold cutwork sari that is distinctly bridal.
Leading his muse
Varma makes an appearance with his star guest at the end of the spectacular show.
