Hundreds of visitors thronged the five-day long cultural and sporting extravaganza that began in Pushkar, Rajasthan on October 25. Camel rides, quirky competitions, ethnic Indian handicrafts, mouth-watering food -- all this makes the annual event a fair to remember.
Coinciding with a religious festival of Hindus, the Pushkar camel fair is held during the full moon of the Hindu month of Kartik when devotees visit Pushkar for a holy dip in Pushkar lake.
