Designer Rohit Bal brought the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week's spring/summer 2010 installment to a close in his typical flamboyant fashion last night.

The theme of his collection, Yasas (meaning 'grand' in Sanskrit), was a throwback to India's glory days, when the Mughals ruled and the country went by the title of 'Golden Peacock'. And Bollywood's latest hot on-screen jodi, Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor walked the ramp. Take a look.

Socialite Aarti Surendranath started things off in this grand peacock-themed ensemble with rich maroon velour piping.

Spinning around

Krishna Somani twirls a stark white floor-sweeper with ornate neckline.

Going with the flow

Model Joey Matthews is up next in a voluminous regal number, worn over churidaar pants.

Style statement

Embossed jodphur pants, a favourite of Bal's, are teamed with a multi-layered, pleated jacket.

Baring it all

One of the male models playfully bares his chest, while showing off comfy linen pants and a netted shirt.

Looking sedate

Jesse Randhawa goes the royalty route in a flouncing skirt and gold corset.

Vital stripe

Tamara Moss sports a sheer bold blouse with only a strategically placed stripe to cover up!

Texture it up

Strutting her stuff in a textured jacket and exaggerated silk jodhpurs is Candice Pinto.

Flower power

The designer goes floral with this high-necked sherwani.

Exaggerated edge

Marianna Dias strikes a pose in a gargantuan-sleeved jacket worn over sheer pants.

Stars shine

Enter Kat and Ranbir, her in a cleavage-baring mini, him in a sherwani. Talk about a culture clash!

Jiggin' it up

Bal takes to the runway alongside his starry guests -- jigging it up as usual!
