Many Indians mistakenly think Salsa is the only form of Latin dance, says Salsa India Director Kaytee Namgyal.
But, as Kaytee explains, there's a wide range of Latin dances out there, each one different and possessing its own unique charm.
Here, Kaytee and his partner Minette show us the basics to Mambo, a Cuban music and dance style invented in Havana in the 1930s.
From Cuba, Mambo's popularity took it to the shores of American, where in the 1940s and 1950s in became a regular in New York City's top night-clubs.
Today, Mambo enjoys an enthusiastic following all around the world.
