Shankar Mahadevan spotted at Fashion Week

Shankar Mahadevan is not someone you'd expect at a fashion week. So it did come as a pleasant surprise to see him waiting patiently at the main entrance for his passes to be fished out and handed over to him. 

Alongside Shankar were Ehsaan and Loy -- his partners- and musicians-in-crime. Ehsaan wore a mischievous smile, while Shankar seemed a tad preoccupied. 

Minutes later we learnt that Shankar's son Siddharth and nephew Soumil and Loy's daughter Alyssa were to perform at Neeta Lulla's opening show of Lakme Fashion Week. 

And how did it go? We'd say not bad at all! The three kids seemed comfortable with the stuff they were doing and the three men were grinning from ear to ear when the show ended! 

Shankar especially was bouncing all over the place, willing to give out sound bites to anyone willing to listen. Of course he spoke about Wake Up Sid that is up for release soon. But the proud papa (and uncle) preferred speaking about his two boys. 

Shankar posed for the cameras with Siddharth and Soumil and told rediff.com that these were tomorrow's 'bad boys'. 

Sure we're looking forward to hearing them, Shankar. But the Dil Chahta Hai tunes rock even now, dude!
