Designer Nikasha Tawadey's spring/summer line, titled In Full Bloom, showcased on the second day of Lakme Fashion Week. The collection, symbolic of a bud moving to a flower, started off with light pastels and graduated to a bright coral. Check it out.

The collection commenced with a pair of dhoti pants and loose-flowing blouse sailing down the ramp in peach and twilight mauve.

Casual cowl

Emulating the previous ensemble with a slight twist on the pale tone is another pair of pants and cowl-necked blouse, topped off with a scarf. The colourful blooms in the model's hair go well with the outfit.

Hint of shine

Creamish-grey is complimented by a hint of shine thanks to those lurex capris. The light embroidery and asymmetrical nature of the blouse are very feminine.

Going with the flow

Nikasha plays with the same colour scheme, this time with a kurta-like translucent blouse and pale silver.

Red to the fore

For the first time, a striking coral hue now stands out, in contrast to the pale poncho top.

Culotte couture

A fuschia babydoll blouse is teamed with becoming pink culottes for that lovely girly touch.

Overlap wrap

Bright as ever, a loosely hanging overlap dress is teamed with leggings.

Effortless chic

The designer moves into the realm of effortless fashion with a lovely layered asymmetrical blouse, fastened at the neck.

The flower blooms

The last entry on the ramp is a bright burst of coral in opaque and sheer fabrics, with hints of Japanses embroidery.

Just a quick look

Nikasha steps out from the wings for a brief moment at the end of the show.
