Hunky males in royal togs: LFW

The New Pure Man. That's what menswear designer duo Rohit & Abhishek are calling their spring-summer 2010 line. After And with good reason.

In an ode to India's modern royalty -- the jet-setting corporate class -- Rohit & Abhishek showed off their India-inspired business-casual creations in the opening show of Day Three of the Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai.

Linens and cottons, kurtas and narrow, low-cut trousers, Jodhpuri jackets and assorted short coats, linens and cottons, satins and velvets the collection had it all.

Let's take a look.

Here, note the golden waistcoat with cape sleeve orange bundi and cropped golden breeches. Funky business!

Create a buzz in business casual

This sweater/scarf combo, accentuated by silver and orange, is perfect for business-casual occasions.

Cropped is cool

Cop an attitude in this cropped sleeve, double-breasted, rust coloured jacket. Note the patched, cream-coloured trousers.

Where West meets East

Check out this golden cream suit with an Indian touch underneath: a brown short kurta. Lovely!

Colourful reverie

This tri-colour kurta atop brilliant white trousers is a beautiful combination of Indian and Western sensibilities.

Suave shading

Rohit & Abhishek frequently utilised shading techniques. Seen here with this maroon knotted-neckscarf and sporting jazzy, shaded jodhpurs.

Time for tuxedos

In what was the dressiest outfit of the collection, here a classic tuxedo look. Nice.

Martial arts mode

Reminiscent of the classic film Karate Kid, don't be afraid to kick up a storm in this ethnic martial arts get-up.

Indo-West formalwear

A Jodhpuri tuxedo and a golden shirt underneath, paired with black shoes and trousers.

The maestro's magic

Looking dapper himself, very much like a Maharaja, Rohit Kamra twirled his mustache much to the crowd's delight.
