White beauties on the runway

Starting off with white, moving gradually onto a coloured palette and moving back to pale passions -- that was Paromita Banerjee's Safed Rang (White Colour) for you, on Day Four of Lakme Fashion Week.

Drawing inspiration from Tibetan robes, the Mughal Jama and Ethiopian pajamas, with a leaf motif running all through, see for yourself what the line was all about.

First up is a sheer, gold-edged shirt worn over a checkered casual dress.

Funky but feminine jacket

Candice Pinto sports a lovely jacket with mixed prints, worn over a white silk number.

Hint of colour

Leafy motifs and traces of limey green set off this simple ensemble.

Asymmetrical angle

This earthy pinafore dress instantly got the seal of approval, as did the sheer peasant blouse worn underneath it.

Conservative cool

Surelee Joseph makes an entrance in a demure cross-over top and flowery skirt. Note that all the ladies are wearing ballerina-style footwear.

Dash of delicacy

This pale yellow wrap and satiny belt cover up a see-through shift below.

Ethnic flair

Candice steps out once more, this time in a lovely semi-formal churidaar kurta.

Here comes the creator

Banerjee steps out on the ramp in a pretty blue-green outfit herself.
