Our celebs like to step out in style -- or at least they think they're stepping out in style! Let us know what you think of the outfits recently seen on these famous faces by taking a vote on each!
We start off with our original beauty queen Sushmita Sen. Criticised of late for weight gain and bad fashion sense, Sush attended a pageant launch party a couple of days ago in fitted jeans and a satin peasant blouse -- do you think its a pleasant change from her more eye-catching (and not always in a good way) eveningwear?
Traipse in drapes
Katrina Kaif launched a jewellery line recently and to grace the occasion she chose a sari. Do you think she should continue to emulate Vidya Balan in the style department, or is she better off in her minis and cocktail numbers?
Kooky khiladi
Akshay Kumar seems to want to channel his inner rapstar, by wearing trackpants with one leg rolled up to the knee in the style of LL Cool J. Except that J does it with jeans, not fading track pants. And he doesn't quite look like his tailor ran out of fabric. Do you agree?
On the black track
When you're dressed in all-black, people tend to assume that you've gained weight and you're trying to play it down. In Ayesha Takia's case, she turned up at a PR-related activity with children in a top that seems to be loose and fitted in just the right places, given how well she's -- er -- endowed. Do you give it a thumbs-up or thumbs-down?
Ethnic preference
Hmmm. It's been awhile since we saw Mahima Chaudhary in anything but a sari. By now boring and predictable, or timelessly elegant? You be the judge of this one.
Denim disaster
No wonder Ajay Devgan looks mad as hell most of the time. If our jeans kept coming underfoot, we'd be mad too. And that fit -- sigh. It's high time he stopped shopping with Kamaal Rashid Khan and buttoned up his shirts a little more!
Tried, tested, failed
Speaking of KRK -- his German crush Claudia Ciesla seems to prefer taking strolls down Frumpy Street too. We get that you love India, Claudia, but that doen't mean a bad ethnic ensemble won't be panned here!
Letting loose
It's refreshing to see Mr tightie-wightie tee Shahid Kapoor in a white, relaxed shirt, jeans and sneakers. Let's just hope the plunging V-necks have all been burned.
Too much of a mix
Silk saris are classics, but Vidya Malvade successfully ruins that perception with her efforts to mess around with convention -- clashing colours and fabrics. Add to that a mismatched clutch (presumably carried because it's from a high-end label) and there you have it -- a recipe for ruin.
Citrus cool
Vinod Kambli is cultivating a new image and, it seems, a new closet. It was a refreshing to see him looking casual in a cool orange kurta and leather slippers.
Mellow yellow
Actress Tulip Joshi stepped out awhile ago in a simple yet striking mellow yellow churidaar kameez, set off wih tasteful gold accessories. What do you think of her ensemble?
Same spin
And finally, we have Rahul Bose, in the same ol' black suit and same ol' silver tie. How about trying something new? We're tiring of the Wall Street investment banker look!
