We invited readers to send in their favourite travel pic -- that one photograph that perfectly captures the beauty of a place they visited. In response, readers have sent in wonderful photographs from all across India and some of international destinations as well.
Here we feature pictures readers sent in of foreign travel destinations.
First is this photo Varun Garg sent in of Mauritius, that he took on his honeymoon.

These pictures are from my visit in 2009," shares Purvesh. "These parks are about 200 miles from San Francisco."
Next up are Pankaj Kumar Sinha's photos taken in Sri Lanka.
The first is of the Kelaniya Temple.
This photograph was taken on my first trip to the United Kingdom," shares K Nagpal Bengoti Vuchula.
"I was very excited with the very thought that in a few hours I would be stepping onto the land of William Shakespeare, Charles Dickens, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle; a land that captured my dreams as I read the books and poems in my childhood. I pushed up the sunscreen of the plane's window and this was the lovely sunrise I saw.
"The warm texture of the sunlight is what makes this photo so special. It was a beautiful morning indeed."
Siraj Syed Humayun sends in the next pic of the Blue Mosque.
"This is a famous landmark in Istanbul -- the Blue Mosque or the Sultan Ahmet Mosque. The interior is very well done up especially the various domes," he shares.

The second pic Prajakta sends in is of a hippo (mid-yawn, it would seem) at Disneyland.
Next is Surbhi Sheth's photograph of Maya Bay on Phi Phi Island.
"This is the place Leonardi Di Capriostarrer 'The Beach', was shot," says Surbhi.
"As you enter a narrow stretch of beach between two hills, the first sight is of the pristine blue water, white sand and lush greenery that takes you into another world altogether."
SB Sharma sends in a photo taken while visiting Shanghai in 2005.
"The backdrop displays the high-rise city line of new Shanghai."
Nitin Vashisht sends in three pics.
"The first is of Mt Cook in New Zealand, somewhere between Queenstown and Christchurch. When I visited this place it was like the Lake Pukaki is calling you -- water so crystal clear that you can easily see through right to the bed. It was simply an amazing experience."
This is the spot for honeymooning couples," says Nitin.
"It is a calm and quiet place, with nature at its best. The best islands to visit are Bora Bora, Moorea islands and Fiji."
