Vijay A Shah from Andhra Pradesh writes, "This is the highest camp site in Sar Pass Trek conducted by Youth hostels in Himachal Pradesh. We had camped in tents and one morning woke up to about 3-4 feet deep snow! It was one of the most memorable experiences in my life.

Once referred to as Suicide Point, this place is now better known as Green Valley View. What it offers you is a panoramic view of the hills, valley and the Vaigai Dam. Saji Ko shares a picture he shot during his visit there.

Gurumurthy K M went trekking in January last year to Kumaraparvatha in the Western Ghats and shared this beautiful picture with us.

Gurumurthy sends in another picture from his Kumarparvatha trek. He writes: "The Kumarparvatha peak is in the Western Ghats and is very close to the famous pilgrimage centre Shri Kukke Subrahmanya Kshetra in South Canara District of Karnataka. It is about 4000 feet above sea level and lies to the east of the temple."

Malshej Ghat is perhaps one of the most under-explored hill-stations in Maharashtra. Sameer Rai visited it and came back with this picture.

Siddu SJ visited Rameshwaram recently and visited Dhanushkodi, the place where the Ram Setu begins. He woke up early in the morning and got this cute picture of the heart-shaped water hole.

Reader Ashok Babu witnessed a busy day at the Vizag Port and emailed us this photograph.

Ritesh Chaurasia writes in, "This is a picture of the war memorial commemorating the brave soldiers who laid their lives for our country. The photo is taken from Batasia Loop in Darjeeling."

Known for its paddy fields and vineyards, Cumbum is situated in Tamil Nadu. Reader Balaji visted this place and sent us this photgraph.

Debashish Ramanath Goswami writes, "This is a picture of Jaswant Thada that was was built by Maharaja Jaswant Singh, to pay tribute to his parents, and other elders. The quality of marble used here is said to be next best only to the Taj Mahal in Agra."

Jayanta Bora visited the Ginnorgarh Fort in Obedullaganj near Bhopal and had this to say, "This fort is situated near a jungle camp of MP tourism department. Visitors to the fort have to drive a few miles in the hilly terrain to reach this fort. There is absolutely nothing to remind you of the urban life."

Reader Agnello Pinto writes, "This is a picture of the Athirapally Waterfalls in Kerala.The waterfalls are situated around 25 km from Thissur railway station. Known as the Niagara falls of India, this is a must-visit place to watch elephants who come here to quench their thirst."
