Last updated on: August 6, 2010 21:50 IST

Don't miss the hottest beach and poolside styles for 2011 -- here, we bring you the best off the runway from the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim 2011.

Last month's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim 2011 held in Miami saw taut bodies in tantalising swimwear take to the catwalk.

This sixth season of showings saw prominent designers from around the world, including names like Ed Hardy, True Religion and Trina Turk, showcase their talent and trends for the coming year over five days. Take a look!

We start off with this sultry black bikini from Aqua Di Lara's 'Qiss Qiss' collection -- gotta have the perfect bod to carry off this one!

We loved this piece, also by Beach Bunny, with its dark colour combination and scalloped edges.

Bootylicious boyshorts

Last updated on: August 6, 2010 21:50 IST

A lot of gutsy gals are opting for high-waisted boyshorts this season, like this retro black bikini from White Sands Australia.

Trina Turk shows us how to cover up in style with this retro kaftan-ish mini, complete with silk headscarf.

Pristine white

Last updated on: August 6, 2010 21:50 IST

There's nothing quite like a plain white two-piece to stand out in the crowd, as this AZ Araujo plainly proves.

Sizzling stripes

Last updated on: August 6, 2010 21:50 IST

A hat and tiny belt add zing to this striped affair from True Religion.

Bold and barely-there

Last updated on: August 6, 2010 21:50 IST

Flawless figures can get away with bright micro-bikinis like the one we see here, from Poko Pano.

Simple 'n' chic

How about that? Classical art on a swimsuit, for the more aesthetically inclined!

We see another Red Carter piece make a statement, this time with a really funky bikini complete with flouncing tulle skirt.

Socialite by the sea

This model looks very much the celebrity in her platforms, hat and don't-look-at-me sunglasses, doesn't she?

Tigress trend

Ed Hardy live up to their fierce reputation with this skimpy tiger-printed design.

Peek-a-boo

Cia Maritima presents a one-sided slit bikini top with matching bottom to heat things up on the ramp.

Bondage beauty

Last updated on: August 6, 2010 21:50 IST

Strips? Stripes? It doesn't matter, because this innovative style is super-sultry and seems bondage-inspired, especially given the stockings.

Slick see-through

Last updated on: August 6, 2010 21:50 IST

A pair of see-through pants set off this bikini from Nicolita Swimwear perfectly.

Tribal touch

Last updated on: August 6, 2010 21:50 IST

Prefer a skirt instead? This abstract printed ensemble ending at the ankles should be just the thing.

Another funky offering from True Religion, with a pretty red bow-tie on the bikini top.

Silky Sue

Fastened with a drawsting at the waist, a fuschia-bordered kaftan mini from Aqua Di Lara is the cynosure of all eyes.

Twist 'n' turn

Last updated on: August 6, 2010 21:50 IST

Nothing like sequins to add a little sensual elegance, is there? This twisty swimsuit is from the AZ Araujo line.

Ocean blue

Last updated on: August 6, 2010 21:50 IST

And finally, we have this breezy cover-up by Dolores Cortes, which reflects the deep blue of the sea.
