A brother-sister relationship is a very special one and the bond keeps on growing stronger and stronger as we grow.
While writing this snippet there is one particular incident that comes to my mind.
One of my two younger sisters is married and settled in Chattisgarh. She got married when I was in the final year of my college. According to custom the brother goes to sister's new house along with the Doli and returns next day.
As the car was heading towards her in-laws home I realised that now she will not come back with us and will be staying at their place forever. This realisation made me so sad that I started crying and was inconsolable and my brother-in-law's family started consoling me. It took me one hour to settle down.
My younger sister is married nearby in Delhi only and we do try to catch up with each other as and when possible. All of us are looking forward to her visit on upcoming Raksha Bandhan.

'I miss my siblings every day'
My name is Pratheesh. I have one brother and three sisters. Today I am working as a design engineer in GM.
My brother scarified his happiness to get me to this top position. He spent a lot of his time just in supporting me for my entire studies and took all the responsibility that a parent takes for his/her children.
Also my three sisters gave me morale support when I was under pressure and appreciated me when I got through some tough situations life had to offer. Now I am staying at Bangalore and they all are in Mumbai.
I miss them each second of my life and this festival of Raksha Bandan gives additional emotional acceleration to warm up our relation all the time. I wish my brother and all three sisters all the best for the rest of their life.
