Bollywood hottie Sameera Reddy swears by Apple, wants to travel in a time machine and would kill for an iPhone. Read on to find out more about how Sameera stays fit, remains disciplined and the one person she looks up to.

How did your journey into Bollywood begin?

It all started with Pankaj Udhas' Aur Ahistha music video and from there it was the jump to the silver screen. My first break in films was Maine Dil Tujhko Diya with which my career began.

You are much disciplined in your daily life we hear?

Discipline is something that has been cultivated in us since childhood. My profession demands of me, just like any other profession, to be disciplined and discipline just makes life more comfortable and happier.

Beauty to you is?

Beauty to me is feeling good about self. Beauty is not all about the looks but it's also about an overall person that you are. Beauty to me is natural.

If you have the power to change things about yourself in terms of habits and physical aspects, what would it be?

As of now I am at peace with life. I feel really confident about things and there is nothing that I would honestly like to change about myself.

Your fitness mantra...

I do light weights thrice a week, and swimming twice a week. A regular workout for me includes a religious 45-minute walk.

Resting for two days in a week is a must for me. I eat small meals five times a day. I start my day with a bowl of oats and a cup of tea.

My lunch comprises of two rotis or brown rice, some vegetables and salad. In the afternoon, I have a lot of dates and a dry fruit since it is essential to have high sugar post lunch. Later in the evening, I eat a bowl of fruits and head to gym.

For dinner I have food that is high on proteins like grilled fish and vegetables. Swimming is my main cardio.

You are a Telegu girl so its natural to be drawn towards Telugu films?

Acting is something that I enjoy and being a part of Telugu, Bengali, Hindi or South film is a complete different experience from each other. I just love cinema.

The person you admire the most?

I look up to my mom. She has brought up three daughters with good upbringing and a lot of ease. She is strong, confident and has always been a pillar of support.

How do you look at the polarities between two characters you played in Race and Kaalpurush?

It's all about understanding the character and getting comfortable with it. Every film has its requirements and you mould yourself according to it. But playing the dumb girl's role in Race was truly difficult.

How close are you to Supriya, the ambitious housewife you played in Kaalpurush?

Being ambitious is a part of me but I would say I am not close to the character.

Forthcoming films in Bollywood?

It is Nagesh Kukunoor's Yeh Hausla and Priyadarhan's next film.
