"We did this trek in October 2008. This place is a few kilometres from a grassland called Chamtoli, while walking towards Mana village. Our team members stand on a rock while resting, on the way back.
"In the background various peaks in the east can be seen. The whole trek route to the lake is amazingly beautiful with breathtaking vistas and high Himalayan peaks all along. The lake is a turquoise jewel nestled in between the snow-covered peaks."

This picture was taken from eastern shore of Lake Pichola of Udaipur, from Jagat Niwas Palace to be precise," shares Gurbinder Singh.
"After ending a long day, I was just retiring on the terrace of the hotel and suddenly noticed this beautiful view. I rushed to my room and brought my camera and captured this picture. Though my tea and sandwich got cold in the process, it was worth it. Udaipur is a must for every traveller and the sunset of Pichola is a must-watch."
This pic was taken in Mahableshwar in July 2009," says Saif Khan of the pic he sent in.

The only thing that remains untouched by the curfews and the ongoing political issues is the pristine beauty of Kashmir," says Utsa Pattnaik.
"This picture was taken in February alst year. It is a picture of Gulmarg, located some 56 km from Srinagar. I've heard that it is lush and green during the summers, but to see it sheathed in this powdery delight during winters is an experience in itself. No camera can do justice to its actual beauty, the only way to capture it is in your heart."
