In this work-a-day world, many of us become obsessed with career advancement, bigger pay packages and prestigious visiting cards. But at what cost? Are we truly happy?

Meet Dr Srikumar S Rao, the Columbia University Business School professor who's widely acknowledged as a 'rock star' in his field. He's a specialist in, among other things, work-place satisfaction and happiness.

For over a decade he's been teaching his custom-designed course, Creativity and Personal Mastery, to students at the world's top business schools, and has been hired to speak at successful companies like Microsoft, Google, Morgan Stanley, American Express, Chubb, IBM, United Airlines, Allstate, Johnson & Johnson, Goldman Sachs.

Rao was recently in Mumbai for the launch of his newest book, Happiness at Work.
