He compared himself to the phoenix -- rising from the ashes -- as he addressed the press after his show at the Delhi Couture Week.
This was Delhi-based designer Rohit Bal's first big fashion show after he suffered a heart attack in February and the designer spared no effort in making his comeback worth remembering.
Bal's show had his trademark flamboyance and a dash of the outrageous as models (and later the designer himself) jumped into the pool that was created specially for his show.
Check out the drama that unfolded:
Bold in gold
Bal blended the traditional and the modern in his collection. A classic instance of this is the designer tank top worn with a sari.
Going in circles
The collection was called Khakasrtari -- Colours of Ash and featured voluminous skirts, Taj motifs, layers of chiffon and more
Oodles of attitude needed
Sure the plunging neckline might look hot as hell. Though we quite liked the sheer volume of the dress.
Taking the holy dip
Rohit Bal jumped into the pool along with his models brining his show to a grand finish.
