Fashion: Indo-Russian glam on the ramp

Varun Bahl presented his collection entitled 'Anastasia Found' on Day 5 of Delhi Couture Week.

A tribute to the enigmatic, flamboyant mystique of imperial Russia, the collection is an indulgence in fantasy entwined with the designer's characteristic craftsmanship. Check it out!

First up was this red velvet gown with fitted corset top and narrow skirt. The ivory and red contrast help tone down the rich velvet effect while the zardosi detailing gives it a touch of Indian style.

A flamboyant collection, Bahl liberally used heavy velvets with layers of lace and rich embellishment to create complex ensembles.
