Last updated on: June 8, 2010 18:48 IST

We invited you to send in unique summer-themed photographs -- odd scenes that are captured on a lens for posterity -- to share with other readers. Here is the next set of responses!

First up we have this pic in from A V Singh. "It has been taken at the biggest Mediterranean port in Athens, Greece. It's a nice, sunny summer there with a clear blue sky," he says.

Share your interesting summer snapshots with us! They could be from anywhere across India or the world, but they have to be original.

Simply e-mail your photographs to getahead@rediff.co.in (subject line: 'Unusual summer pics') -- we'll publish the most interesting ones on rediff.com and in India Abroad. And make sure to include a little-write up of where you clicked the snap.

Remember, the theme is summer, so your photograph has to gel with the season. Hurry and send in your entry today!

Regular contributor Prasun Sanyal sent in this image, explaining, "I have taken it in my village. I found ants crawling on the ground where it was a little wet -- the decaying leaves and wood makes this a perfect habitat for these ants. I had to be careful of them as they were crawling all over."
