Unusual summer pics: A balancing act!

We invited you to send in unique summer-themed photographs -- odd scenes that are captured on a lens for posterity -- to share with other readers. Here is the final set of responses and thank you for all your contributions. Summer is almost at an end and we'll soon be inviting you to send in your monsoon pictures!

First up we have this pic in from Nikhil Singh. "This photograph of me was taken at Puzzling World Wanaka, just north of Queenstown in New Zealand on a nice summer day. It's one of the best places on earth to drive to. The whole West Coast is full of gorgeous lakes and beautiful scenery and this photograph always makes me wanna go back," he says.
