Fashion: Paromita brings rustic charm

Designer Paromita Banerjee showcased her latest offerings on Day Four of the LFW. Titled 'The laal paar and other stories', her line sought to add a rustic touch and de-glamorise fashion; it was inspired by the 'laal paar', the traditional hand-woven red border sari of Bengal.

The garments were layered and tailored in mulmul, khadi, silk and other Indian fabrics, while the overall silhouettes were also reminiscent of cultural wear from all over the country. Here's a glimpse.
