Anita Dongre presented two distinct lines, titled 'inter-pret' and 'Timeless' on the final day of Lakme Fashion Week.
The first was resortwear and Western garments, while the second consisted of ethnic eveningwear, but see-through whites, sparkling embroidery and sexy silhouettes dominated the runway throughout. Check it out.

Seen here is Nicole Faria in a bikini top and shorts, worn underneath a beautiful sheer jacket.
Ballooning belle
Up next, Marianna Dias struts her stuff in a white linen-silk shirt with ballooning statement sleeves.
Pretty and pristine
This one is worthy of any international red carpet! The designer keeps it classic with cross-bodied glimmer and a see-through back.
All puffed up
A beige bustier sets off this puff-sleeved organza shirt, while a silver belt glams up the shorts.
Sexy back
Alecia Raut poses in a jersey gown with a netted back, worked over with just the right hints of shimmer.
Slivers of silver
With the resortwear at an end, it's now the turn of 'Timeless' eveningwear. We loved this billowy skirt with its silver lines; the long-sleeved choli is definitely a winner too.
Pretty as a peach
This peach ghagra, with its light bandhini work and sparse sequins marks another change in colour.
Cocktail couture
Silver and gold stream down this eye-catching strapless dress, sure to be a hit at any cocktail party.
Giving it a whirl
Alecia shows off this long mul kurta with gota embroidery in all its whirling perfection.
Classic drape
Off-white and gold clash superbly on this tastefully embroidered floral sari, the pallav being the focal point.
Feminine flair
Yet another sari sails out onto the runway, this time in elegant pink with the encrusted choli catching the light.
Standing out
Dongre stands out in black against her all-white and pastel collection as she soaks in the adulation.
