Best LFW fashions on the ramp: Vote!

You voted for the worst outfits showcased at Lakme Fashion Week -- now we present you the best creations seen on the runway this season. Tell us what you think by taking the poll at the end of each page!

We start off with this lemony drape Bipasha Basu wore at the opening show for Rocky S and Queenie. A rich border sets off the contrasting shades of yellow, while wispy tulle cascades from the sleeves of the choli. And topping things off is that dazzling diamond and ruby sparkler at her neck!

It wasn't necessarily the showstoppers, however, that were the most eye-catching in every collection. Take this ethereal creation by Riyaz Ganji, with its pale gold panels and skirt of spectacular sparkle.

Puneet Nanda of Satya Paul proved that he's good at designing garments besides saris -- how do you like this gently undulating number modelled by Diandra Soares? The bright colours and becoming cut compliment each other perfectly.

We weren't crazy about the futuristic (read weird) line of denims by Narendra Kumar and Killer Jeans, but actor Neil Nitin Mukesh sure looked smart in the well-tailored black suit he stepped out in.

It's not often that a Gen Next participant puts out something that can compete with collections by well-established designers, but you've got to give credit where it's due. This lovely jersey dress by Vipin Batra was one that really stood out on the runway.

Vikram Phadnis zeroed in on the perfect summer look of 2010 with this outfit -- a breezy blouse and palazzo pants in a classic black-white combo. Two thumbs up!

Yesteryears supermodel Mehr Jesia Rampal was the very epitome od timeless elegance in a creamy one-sided red carpet special by Malini Ramani, set off by diamond earrings and cuff.

Anita Dongre presented an all-white collection at the LFW and this was one of the most striking of all her designs -- a twirling low-waisted skirt with silvery border and a midriff-exposing sheer blouse.

Dare to be different in this Payal Singhal creation, modelled by Brazilian bombshell Marianna Dias. The voluminous draped pants are the focal point, toned down by a simple tank top and set off by a beaded neckpiece.

Digvijay Singh is primarily a menswear couturier and this was one of the best ensembles at his show -- the panels of pale gold, high collar and tie-up sandals create a very sophisticated yet summery look.

Candice Pinto looked her best in this hot little number, with its shimmering bikini blouse and bright threadwork flowers by Suneet Varma.

Another of Rocky's works makes it to the list and it's hardly surprising. This ghagra choli, with its royal creamy-gold combo and super fit is sure to have brides everywhere ooh-ing and aah-ing.

Not to be outdone, this sequinned cocktail by Anita Dongre was easily one of the best seen at fashion week. The expert embroidery and feminine pattern ensured that it stood out among the rest.

Vivan Bhatena struts his stuff in a Riyaz Ganji design that is the epitome of smart casuals. The tailoring is super and although fitted silhouettes are not always flattering when it comes to men, this one certainly is.

And rounding off the best outfits is this one-sided dress by Lina Tipnis, its unusual print on silk scoring majorly on the unusual front.
