We caught up with beauty queen and actress Jacqueline Fernandez recently and got her to share a lot of little-known facts about herself. Here's her take on fitness, looking good, housework and everything in between!

What do you do to maintain your looks?

That's quite a funny question. There is nothing you can do to look good besides basic things like eat well and exercise. That is the most basic way to maintain your looks.

What is your diet like?

It consists of lots of fish, lot of nuts. I am a Sri Lankan and fish is something that I have grown up eating. I have normal portions of three balanced meals a day.

How do you keep fit?

I do yoga and attend dance class three times a week. Once in a while I go to the gymnasium, I have a membership.

So you're a dancer?

I am trained in jazz ballet. It gives you good pace and ups your confidence. That is my basic workout.

Could you share a quick tip to good?

I would say flash your smile. Seriously, if you feel nothing is going right for you, a smile cheers you up and makes you look good.

When did you realise you are famous?

I go to Joggers Park in Bandra and one time I was walking there, a car stopped and someone said, 'That is Jacquline Fernandez.' That was the first time I realised I am known in India.

Do your fans harass you?

Yes sometimes, on my Twitter page and Facebook I get an odd request now and then. But it's alright, because there are good fans and bad fans. Nothing so shocking yet, though.

Travelling. When I came to Mumbai I thought as an actress I would get to travel, but I have not been out of Mumbai so far (laughs). I also love meeting people.

Something people don't know about you?

I am a neatness freak.

What's your take on housework? Do you perform chores yourself?
