First up, Leena Raut sent in a picture of the Bhandardara Lake in Maharashtra, where the sun peeks out from behind a thick cloud cover.

This lovely shot of the Kemmangundi Hills in Chikmagalur, where the sun seems to set the clouds on fire, was contributed by Neelabja Dutta .

Ayaz sent us a picture of clouds casting their shadow over the Puga Geothermal Valley in Ladakh. The valley, he informs, has the highest potential of geothermal energy extraction in the country.

Richa Kumar shot this photograph of dark clouds filtering bright sunrays.

She writes, "It was a cloudy evening when suddenly the sky opened a bit and gave way to the sunrays. It was an awesome sight to see the hills getting bathed in the sun."

Rahul Vadhan saw this beautiful sight while he was holidaying in Lakshwadeep.

He writes, "This cloud formation was simply superb and I couldn't stop myself taking this picture."
