Electric sunset
Deepak Pullanikkatil sent in this stunning image. "My wife and I were driving to Johannesburg," he explains. "About 80 kilometres before reaching Joburg, my wife asked me to pull over. She rolled the windows down and quickly took the attached pictures within seconds of the sun having dissappeared from the horizon, using her Canon Digital SLR camera."
Caught in mid-flight
This aesthetically pleasing pic is the work of Prabhat Saraswat. "I was in Stockholm for a conference, when the volcano ash cloud forced me to stay on in the city for another day," he says. "I took this picture when some tourists were throwing pieces of bread into the water to feed the ducks. The seagulls wanted to catch the breadcrumbs in mid-air, which led to this amazing photograph."
Bright summer bloom
We received this pic from Prince Ravat based in Pune. "I captured it during my trip to the Mapro Garden in Mahabaleshwar," he says.
Daring dive
And finally, here is an image of a daring dive sent in by Anuj Singhal, which he says was shot at Bhedaghat in Jabalpur.
