We invited you to send in unique summer-themed photographs -- odd scenes that are captured on a lens for posterity -- to share with other readers. Here is the next set of responses!
First up we have this pic from Narendra Bellana. "This is a white tiger we saw on safari," he says. "He was swimming in the pond to escape the heat." With all that fur, we would too!
Share your interesting summer snapshots with us! They could be from anywhere across India or the world, but they have to be original.
Simply e-mail your photographs to getahead@rediff.co.in (subject line: 'Unusual summer pics') -- we'll publish the most interesting ones on rediff.com and in India Abroad. And make sure to include a little-write up of where you clicked the snap.
Remember, the theme is summer, so your photograph has to gel with the season. Hurry and send in your entry today!

Dr Prakash Lalpotufrom Basmathnagar sent in this next image, of a leafless tree, seemingly parched for water.
Srivatsan KV from Singapore wanted to share this pic he took with his macro lens. "I just wanted to highlight the importance of 'saving every drop of water' in summer," he explains. "We know what it means to be without pure drinking water. This is a picture of normal a droplet with some colour sheets at the side of the tub for the colour reflection."
We received this photograph from Kartikeya Mishra, who says, "This is my cousin Tillu in a dilemma -- whether to go play outdoors or not, as the heat is scorching. It was shot at my paternal home, in a village named Banspar, in the District of Maharajganj (UP)."
And finally, Sumanth D Murthy, who e-mailed in this picture says, "Despite the unbearable summer heat, nature has its own way of cooling things down and displaying its beauty in so many different ways. This was taken by me from my rooftop over the last weekend...I was wonderstruck at how beautiful the streaks look!"
