10 revolutionary concept laptops that can change the way we look at computing, design and aesthetics.

These are HP Nobag, Moonlight, Canvas, Sony Vaio Zoom, Asus dual-panel, Samsung Amoled, Compenion laptop, MacBook Touch, Apple iMac, MacTab.

Keep clicking NEXT to see and read what the future of laptop design looks like.

1. HP Nobag

This version of HP laptop is designed for women who do not like bags for laptops.

The concept is to roll the laptop like an umbrella when not in use to carry it like a small elegant accessory.

It has an OLED (organic light emitting diode) screen and touch sensors. This special laptop for women from HP is a result of creativity combined with 'thinking out of the box' of industrial designer, Nikita Buyanov.

What say?

2. Moonlight laptop

This concept laptop comes with duel-curved screens, the bigger measuring 16:9 and the smaller 4:3, allowing the users maintain an ideal distance between the eyes and the laptop screen to reduce eye stress.

The lower display is a touch screen and can work as a mouse or run a mini OS in the background, or just as an annex of the bigger one.

The frame is sensor controlled and lights up in dark and has a pair of long legs to lift the laptop and for proper placing of the keyboard.

3. Canvas laptop

A designer named Kyle Cherry has developed this laptop of the 21st century.

The laptop features a very thin touch-sensitive screen and the other components will look just about the same but they will be better adjusted.

Designer Kyle Cherry has envisaged a new type of computer with intense creativity in mind. Called simply 'Canvas', the computer is designed to increase the quality and productivity of the designer or artist.

It is intended to allow a user with little or no experience to make the switch from traditional to digital workflows by building the system around a more familiar interface.

4. Sony Vaio Zoom

Image: Sony Vaio Zoom

Designed by Eno Setiawan, the Vaio Zoom notebook concept takes everything we know about holographic technology and squeezes it inside a thin glass form factor.

When off, the screen is completely transparent and the keyboard goes opaque. Turn it on and the touchscreen holographic festivities begin! Even the mouse buttons are holographic!

It's just a concept so there's no info on important tidbits like tactile feedback, battery life, system stats, etc., but rest assured technologies like these are closer than you think. It may not come all at once but it's coming, that's for certain!

Watch out Vaio lovers!

5. Asus dual-panel laptop

This dual panel offers a flexible working space in which users can adapt to suit their prevailing usage scenarios. For example adjusting the size of the virtual touchpad and keyboard.

Through hand gestures, handwriting recognition, and multitouch, users are presented with a control surface that is both flexible and intuitive.

Users can use the dual-panel concept in a myriad of usage scenarios.

For example as a conventional notebook with multitouch screens, a virtual keyboard and touchpad; a multimedia hub, in which both dual panels could combine to form a larger display for widescreen entertainment; or an E-book mode in which users can hold the dual panel concept notebook just like they would hold a conventional book while flipping pages through intuitive gestures or by touch.

These concepts aim to bring convenience to the user through technological innovations and user-centric design.

6. Samsung Amoled

AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode) displays have come into spotlight because of their great display quality and Samsung has already started implementing this new technology in handful of devices like cellphones and cameras.

Recently the SDI Division at Samsung came up with an AMOLED notebook prototype about which they claim that it produces a contrast ratio about 20 times higher than that of an LCD!

The AMOLED concept notebook by Samsung also features a unique design which is thin and sleek with a touch-sensitive keyboard which lacks tactile feedback.

7. Compenion laptop

Image: Compenion laptop

Felix Schmidberger has designed a laptop for the year 2015 with OLED touch screen.

It consists of two sliding OLED screens, one of which can be used as a keyboard, where and when required. Our opinion is that while this is the nicest looking concept we have seen, we suspect that innovation will outstrip this vision significantly.

The computer itself has an OLED touchscreen, where you can directly work on, much like with an UMPC or PDA.

The whole screen is a slider, as it can be moved forward to reveal a second OLED touchscreen underneath, where you can have a keyboard or working controls, similar to a setup with 2 monitors.

8. MacBook Touch

Image: MacBook Touch

This concept is based on one of Apple's latest patents.

It uses a transparent multitouch display that can work as a control surface on two sides, both while the device is open as well as closed.

Could this really be the holy grail of tablet computing?

The patent could avoid flip-over screens on tablet-type computers. The transparent touch display will take the normal role of a multitouch surface when the computer is closed.

The moment the computer is opened, using a normal clamshell move, the surface will display a keyboard or other user interfaces.

9. Apple iMac

The concept design by Adam Benton is based on current Apple design trends as well as the previous iMac incarnations.

It pitches a 30-inch transparent screen which can be set to different levels of transparency and is totally transparent when switched off.

The keyboard, also transparent, is ergonomically designed with light sensitive illuminated keys and the whole set-up is, of course, wireless!

10. MacTab

Image: MacTab

Designer Yann Le Coroller has created an unofficial Mac Tablet, called the MacTab.

The laptop is an ultraportable concept which fits well with Apple's image.

Yan describes, "The incredibly thin wireless keyboard is used as a protection cover for transportation. It stays in place with a combination of magnets and notches. On the back of the computer, a hinge allows it to be put in a vertical position so you can use Mactab comfortably on your desk."
