Arjun Khanna, Cowboy Deol and a bike on the ramp!

Here's what Arjun Khanna offered up on the final day of HDIL India Couture Week in Mumbai.

It certainly looks like designer Arjun Khanna aims to stage all showings of his creations as full-scale productions, with plenty of buzz and drama.

For his Victorian and Sherlock Holmes-inspired 'October Dandy' collection, displayed on the fifth and final day of HDIL India Couture Week, the menswear maestro had his show philosophy printed on the ramp, which was arranged with British period furniture and had chandeliers suspended from the ceiling.

The models lounged on armchairs in this living room setting, reading books or sipping wine from glasses. The clothing consisted of long tailcoats, leather blousons, bandhgala jackets, high-collared shirts and sherwanis in opulent fabrics like wool, linen, brocade and velvet.

And in addition to Abhay 'Cowboy' Deol performing showstopping honours in a Western get-up, Khanna himself made a grand entrance at the end of the show on a motorbike! Take a look.

First up is this charcoal grey double-breasted jacket and matching trousers.

Next we have a subtly-striped suit, worn over a snazzy red tie and sporting what we're guessing is the designer's insignia on one side of the chest.

Hmmm. We like the cut of this belt-fastening jacket, the cute plaid bowtie and the lean pants. But you have to be a very, very brave man to carry off this kind of plush velvet!

Seen here is a repeat of the previous ensemble with a few changes -- for one thing, the jacket is fastened with a button. Also, the collar sports a silk panel and the fedora hat adds a new vibe to the look.

The glares and fedora add an effortlessly 'cool' feel to this formal red-black sherwani.

Abhay Deol makes his way out in a leather jacket and jeans complete with holster and patched pockets. Now all he needs is a horse...

Or maybe he just decided he would ride pillion with Khanna, who made his grand entrance by riding a motorbike onto the ramp! Now that's definitely a first!

Deol and Khanna face the cameras arm-in-arm at the end of the showing -- one which we're sure the audience won't forget in a hurry!
