JLo and other stars carrying Suneet Verma handbags
The work of the Indian designer, who has created a special line of handbags in association with Judith Leiber, is attracting Hollywood's A-listers.
The talent of Indian couturiers is finally being noticed internationally and the latest designer to jump onto the Hollywood bandwagon is Suneet Verma.
The designer has seen phenomenal success with the special line of handbags he created for high-end label Judith Leiber.
While Verma has been catering to the who's who of Bollywood for years, this is definitely a huge step up for him, what with international celebrities promoting his work on red carpets across the world.
And the first notable diva to tuck one of these intricately created clutches under her arm has been none other than the bootylicious Jennifer Lopez, who carried Verma's champagne-hued 'Starburst' to the Metropolitan Museum of Art's 2010 Costume Institute Ball (Met Gala) in New York this May.

Dancing With the Stars presenter Brooke Burke followed suit at the Emmys this week, with a stunning white and gold box piece. Burke even tweeted her dismay at being unable to fit her cellphone into it -- guess she left it at home!

Sex and the City style
Actress Sarah Jessica Parker, who became an international fashion icon thanks to her wardrobe on Sex and the City, chose to carry a predominantly blue 'Jali' bag by Verma to the New York City Ballet Spring Gala in April.

Even younger, upcoming stars like Jenna Ushkowitz of the hit musical series Glee seem to have taken a shine to the designer's work. She carried a fabulous gold floral zinger to the Emmys on Sunday.
