Dia Mirza wishes her grade two class teacher on Teachers' Day
On the occasion of Teacher's Day that falls on September 5, Bollywood actress Dia Mirza sent out her special wishes to a class teacher from school.

I'm a big believer that teacher's affect eternity. I went to a school that I revere completely -- Vidhyaranya High School in Hyderabad -- and I'm not kidding when I say I remember every class teacher right through school.

But I would like to make a special mention of a teacher who was hugely responsible in helping me become the person that I am today. In helping me come out of my shell and encouraging me to write and read and express myself through words -- Namita Shrivastava.

She was my Grade 2 class teacher and she continued to be my class teacher for two more years after that. I have too much to thank her for. Happy Teachers' Day!

On the occasion of Teacher's Day, we want you to share a story about your favourite teacher with us. It can be amusing, interesting or sentimental -- but it has to be about that special someone who made the biggest impression upon you in the course of your academic career.
