Unusual monsoon pics: Horses in rainwear!

We invited you to send in unique rain-themed photographs -- odd scenes that are captured on a lens for posterity -- to share with other readers. Here are some more responses!

First up is this one of from Sunaabh Sarkar, shot at Naukuchiatal in Uttaranchal. "The horses had polythene sheets over them for protection against the rains," he says. "And they stood in a formation facing head to tail."

We received this pic from Shahab Shakeel, of a church in Thekkady, Kerala on rainy evening.

Pankaj Varma from Mumbai sent in this one saying it was shot in Bina, Dist Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. It shows huge rain clouds rolling merrily in.

"My friends and I visited a hillstation called Chikhaldara in Vidarbha this season," says Manish Khandelwal. "The morning when this snapshot was taken was heavy with rain and we enjoyed every bit of it -- we had nothing but a towel to take cover with and my friends were fighting to shelter themselves!"
