In my opinion, money is something but not everything. Specially, in the Indian context, Rs 30 lakh/anum is not required to remain really happy.

I am well connected with the work of Mother Teresa in her Missionaries of Charity since the last 10 years. Here, I meet really poor and really rich people almost every day. The poor come here to get some food or clothes or medicines, shelter etc. The rich come here to shed their worries by donating anything out of their abundance.

To deal with the problems of poor is easIER. You give them food or you cloth them. Soon their hunger and nakedness goes. Very simple. But to deal with rich people is really very tough. You can't take out their deep-rooted worries about their posts, designations, family matters, drug addiction etc. And they never share the real cause of their anxiety.

I feel in the Indian context, earning Rs 30 lakh and getting worried for its accumulation year after year makes no sense to life. In fact, I have never seen any rich person bursting into laughter. They do not smile naturally. Always synthetic talks, synthetic laugh, synthetic cries, far away from reality.

Therefore, earning Rs 30 lakh and spending minimum Rs 15 lakh for the upliftment of your own brothers/sisters, relatives, friends, neighbours will definitely give you happiness.
