The Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week, which is currently underway, has been showcasing a host of hot bikinis and some sizzling lingerie on the ramp. Take a look.

The mercury is definitely rising at the latest edition of one of the biggest international fashion events of the year.

Showcasing spring/summer trends for 2011, prominent designers have opted to go with the 'less is more' motto at the Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week, taking place from September 9-13.

Sexy swimswear and luscious lingerie seem to be the order of the day and here, we bring you glimpses of the best beach and bedroom attire.

We start off with this hot tasselled piece from the Custo Barcelona Spring 2011 collection, in purple, black and white.

Sheer grey brings out the best in this cut-away, with matching robe from the Project Runway Spring 2011 line.

Tommy Hilfiger gets sassy with this tie-up shirt and jazzy jacket, work over bikini briefs.

This off-white two-piece, worn under a white overcoat is the work of Max Azria.
