Day two of the LFW saw designer Babita Malkani showcase her collection, inspired by the mountainous beauty of Cappadocia in Turkey.
Three distinct lines, all inspired by the mystic and scenic beauty of Turkey's mountainous province, Cappadocia, were what Babita Malkani offered up on Day Two of the LFW.
According to the designer, they are "representative of eclectic and bohemian form but keeping in ming the trends for this season". She used asymmetrical silhouettes, rugged texture and distinctive folds to recreate the diversity of the mountainous Cappadocian landscape.
While the first two sets of designs moved from muted peach and nudes to an introduction of green, the third moved to blue and white, an inspiration from Turkish art forms.
To top it all, Malkani got ex-model and actress Pooja Batra to don the showstopper. And it all started with a performance by whirling dervishes, the Sufi dance form followed by the Mevlevi Order in Turkey.
