Pix: Move over pastels, bold colours hit the ramp

Last updated on: September 18, 2010 15:24 IST

Designer Harangad Singh's line on the second day of Fashion Week, 'Khumor', was inspired by the joy of divine passion.

The Persian term 'Khumor' translates as ecstasy or intoxication with the wine of pure for the divine. And that is the theme Harangad Singh chose to go with for his designs at the LFW -- quenching the thirst of the soul.

The creations themselves were spun from handcrafted techniques, using near-extinct weaves to come up with a contemporary look in strong bold colours. Seen here is a wispy silvery-grey dress with asymmetrical hemline and sheer sleeves.
