Masaba Gupta opened Day Three of Lakme Fashion Week in true 'Mumbaiya' style, with a 'Nan Khatai' band marching onto the ramp to kick things off.
My version of 'festive' clothing." That, in a nutshell, is what designer Masaba Gupta's line was all about on the third day of the LFW.
Subtle embroidery, crushed silks and juicy colours defined the 'Thinking Bride' collection, for independent, strong women who are culturally-minded and getting it all off to a festive start was a 'Nan Khatai' band, which had the audience grooving to their rhythm before the first outfit took to the ramp -- an embroidered white bodysuit and black pleated net sari, seen here.
