Taking inspiration from ancient Indian royalty, here is Shyamal & Bhumika's 'Bejewelled' on the LFW ramp.
Kalidaar lehengas, sherwanis, bandhgalas, structured skirts and more from duo Shyamal & Bhumika's latest line created an opulent display on Day Four of Lakme.
The designers defined their 'Bejewelled' line as "a treasure trove of unique collectors' pieces for brides and grooms" and to drive the point home, their star showstoppers included musical twosome Salim-Sulaiman and singer Sunidhi Chauhan. Here's how it all went down.
Menswear took the lead in this one, with this rich maroon sherwani, complete with turban and strings of pearls to complete the royal look.

Next we have a shift to gold silk, with a colourful red-green dupatta added on for effect.
A red bikini-style bolero is worn over a matte gold kurta, but the dupatta with its rich work definitely steals the show.
Anjali Lavanya is a vision in this heavy maroon ghagara and glimmering choli.
An orange kurta is crowned with a stunning jacket sporting a striking mesh pattern.
Red velour gives a luxurious air to a high-collared choli, teamed with a green-gold drape.
This wine-coloured treat with its heavy embroidery was the cynosure of all eyes.
Moving from red to champagne and back, this sari has its own unique appeal.
We see the same colours come together on another drape, but this time there's a switch in fabrics and the long-sleeved silk choli has an almost jacket-ish appearance.
Thread worked seams and hems add a handcrafted touch to this printed kurta for men.
Singer Sunidhi Chauhan enters as the showstopper in a vibrant blue-red drape with embroidered border.
She is followed by musical duo Salim-Sulaiman. Salim sings all the way down the ramp while modelling a pair of maroon jodhpurs and a handsome jacket....
While brother Sulaiman accompanies him, looking dapper in a navy-gold sherwani.
Shyamal and Bhumika line up with their melodious muses as the curtains come down on their show.
