An email that's gone viral drives home some hard facts but also takes you right back in time.

If you've probably not received the email so far, you've definitely missed out on something.

The message that has been doing the rounds on email as well as the BlackBerry Messenger lists out 30 things that will make you feel old. The source of this email/message is the extremely funny blog: vadakkus.com!

It includes among other things some hard facts like the number of years since Pierce Brosnan last acted as James Bond, it reminds us how old Arnold Schwarzenegger is and that Macaulay Culkin is no longer that adorable child, he is 30!

A certain Atal Behari Vajpayee had inaugurated the first line of the Delhi on December 24, 2002 -- a day before his birthday making it only the second underground rapid transit system in the country, after the Kolkata Metro.

Vajpayee has since been retired and his party, the BJP was all but wiped out in the last general elections.

Two most recognisable humanitarians across cultures died barely days apart.

Lady Diana died in a car crash on August 31, 1997 and Mother Teresa on September 5 the same year.

That happened in 1994 to be precise, which would make it 17 years actually! Of the two hotties -- Sushmita Sen is now 35 and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, 37 -- one is already a mother and another is on her way to becoming one.

Salman Rushdie's Saleem Sinai was born on the stroke of the midnight on August 15, 1947. Arnold Schwarzenegger though was born about 16 days before India became free -- on July 30. That would make him 64 years old not that it stopped him (or any man) from philandering!

Remember that story about three guys and a road trip to Goa? Well that was ten years ago -- in August 2001 to be precise. The other Aamir Khan film that put India on the world map also completed ten years. That film was Lagaan.

The man who taught India to dream and echoed the sentiments of hundreds of thousands of Indians when he famously told the Joint Session of the US Congress and India, "India is an old country, but a young nation; and like the young everywhere, we are impatient. I am young and I too have a dream."

Gandhi was killed by a human bomb on May 21, 1991 a little over two decades ago. On August 20 this year, he would have been 67!

Well, she's 23 to be precise. After Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Sana Saeed did a few movie roles before practically disappearing from the scene till recently when she acted in a couple of soap operas -- Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na and Lo Ho Gayi Pooja Iss Ghar Ki.
