Readers share memorable pictures of their mothers. Share yours too!

We invited you to share with us memorable pictures of you and your mother. Akash Raman sent us this black and white photo of his mother and his aunt.

This is what he has to say: "This picture was taken when I was less than a year old and is probably different than all of the rest because I had the fortune of having two mothers. The one in the middle is "Ma", my mom, who gave me birth, and the one on the left is "Bado-Ma" (Big mother), my aunt, who brought me up and loved me as much (which is apparent from my smile!). They both were always there for me, and I wish and hope that I can continue to be with them forever."

Sudhir Mishra writes: "My Mom is the world for me. I am always a mama's boy.The proof of our eternal relationship is that my date of Birth is 16th January and her is 15th January. I was born on her 30th Birthday , so it is always a
dual celebration at our home. If in my childhood she was worried for my exam papers now she is eaqally apprehensive for my office presenations.

Starting from putting my corn flakes bowl at table in time to creseless blazers, she is every where. My brother and sister
always complain that I am the laadla but my mom tactically avoids them and says when you are all outside ' he is with me and takes care of my every need." After my marriage I was always worried about my wife's relation with my Mom but it was all smooth. In no time my wife became the daugher for her from daughter-in-law. At this age when I get disturbed by personal or professional matters I able to cross all hurdles with her moral support."
