Calling her collection 'Notes from The Raj', Payal Kapoor showcased a vivacious line of Indo-Western festive garments at the LFW today.

The designer used specially woven fabrics from Benares, paying tribute to the craftsmen of that city, to create halters, maxi skirts, peplum blouses, layered lehengas and kaftans in shades of green, nude, black and wine.

What's more, TV personality Mini Mathur closed the show in a ravishing showstopper.

Here's a look at the offerings from Kapoor's line, starting with Alesia Raut, sporting lovely beach curls as she models a paisley kaftan worn over churidaars.

Fusion funk comes to the fore with this curious mix of ethnic pants and asymmetric kurta/dress.
