Kawasaki has unveiled the 2013 Ninja 250R, which will go on sale in global markets by the end of the year. The new 2013 Ninja 250R gets important upgrades all around, which promises to make the bike a whole lot better.

So what all is new in the new Ninja 250R?

For starters, Kawasaki has changed the styling by giving the 2013 Ninja 250R a new front end with twin headlights, a new fairing, new muffler and a new exhaust system.

The bike looks so much more sporty and aggressive. Not only is the change for cosmetic reasons but also for functionality. The styling changes makes the Ninja 250R more aerodynamic.

The Ninja's 250cc, parallel twin powerplant continues to produce 33 BHP of power. However the engine now features new cylinders, piston, crank case and dual throttle valves.

Kawasaki has also tweaked the fuel injection system to make power delivery that much more crispier. With the new fairing, the engine will be able to maintain optimum temperature with ease, thereby boosting overall performance.

Kawasaki has also made changes to the suspension and brakes, which are new. ABS has been added as an option on the Ninja 250R. The old Ninja's cluster wasn't anything to talk about.

However, the company has given the 2013 Ninja 250R an all new instrument cluster, which has a digital readout as well. The analogue tachometer is surrounded by warning lights all around.

The overall changes to the Ninja 250R make is a much better quarter-litre machine in all aspects then its predecessor. Bajaj Auto currently assembles the bike through CKD kits brought in from Thailand.

This will continue to happen and thus we can expect the new Kawasaki Ninja 250R to go on sale in the Indian market by the middle of 2013.
