Just as promised, we bring to you the collection of John Abraham's bike collection. To recap, we had shared with you the collection of bikes owned by famous Hollywood star Brad Pitt. And now, we bring to you the list of the Bollywood stars, who breathe, eat, drink and endorse bikes.

John is the first Bollywood name that comes to mind when one thinks about bikes. He is known for treating his bikes like his babies and is often spotted speeding on the streets of Mumbai late at night, enjoying his space and time alone. His passion is such that he often uses a ringtone which in real is the sound of his Yamaha R1. We present to you the most desirable bachelor boy with his love... Topping the list are the Yamaha R1 1000cc and the V-Max 1700cc bikes.

Along with him we also bring to you the bikes owned by two more desirable Bollywood stars: Shahid Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt

John Abraham and his bikes

John Abraham who also endorses Yamaha bikes, owns a spectacular Yamaha R1. Yamaha R1 is certainly the most technically advanced bike that is present in the Indian market. Basically imported from Europe, the R1 1000cc runs on DOHC 20V engine and is engineered with Chip Control Throttle technology which delivers great power under any driving conditions. The company defines the technology used in Yamaha as the 'Art of Engineering'.

The bike churns out a power of 179 bhp at 12500 rpm and a maximum torque of 115 Nm at 10,000 rpm.

The R1 sold in India churns out a maximum speed of 285 kmph. The price of the lightweight Yamaha bike in India is somewhere close to Rs 11.5 lakh.

The other love in John's life is the V-Max 1700 cc which has a 4-stroke DOHC, 4-valve, 4-cylinder engine.

The power that the bike delivers is close to 198 bhp at 9000 rpm and the 166.8 Nm at 6500 rpm. The bike is known for its low profile aluminum frame. The Iridium sparks, known for ensuring extremely efficient combustion under all situations, further enhance the performance. The price of this V-Max is GBP 21,499 which is close to INR 18.65 lakh.

High performance camshafts, excellent throttle, steel valves for added durability along with sporting and handling makes this bike simply irresistible. No wonder John loves it so much...

And how can we forget Yamaha RD 350, John's first bike and his first love.

RD 350 was and still is considered as one of the fastest bikes. In fact RD was considered as much more powerful that what suits an average Indian rider. It was a high revving 2-stroke bike which was quite known for misbehaving sometimes until it was being tamed by experienced and mature riders.

There was RD LT (Lower Torque) version that had to be released for the younger riders. RD was one of the initial proper 'performance superbike' in India. In fact RD 350 was a landmark in itself. But sadly it didn't work well because of multi-fold reasons, and high running cost probably tops the list.

John has been seen in a lot of movies sporting various bikes. One such popular movie is Dhoom 1. The bikes used in Dhoom were the Suzuki Hayabusa, Suzuki GSX-R600 and the Suzuki Bandit.

John Abraham's character, Kabir, rode the Hayabusa GSX 1300. The Hayabusa is powered by 1340cc 4-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid cooled DOHC engine and it churns out a power of 197 bhp approximately.

The top speed of the mean machine is close to 300 kmph. The price of the bike is somewhere around Rs 12.5 lakh.

Finally, the third model used in Dhoom was the Suzuki Bandit. Bandit is a series of standard/sport-standard street motorcycles that are produced by Suzuki. The model used in Dhoom 1 was the 1255cc 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, liquid cool, DOHC engine that is mated with a 6-speed constant mesh.

The approximate price of the Bandit is Rs 8.5 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi.) The top speed of the bike is 233 kmph approximately.

Now... that's a long list as well!

The next in line on the list of bikers from Bollywood is Shahid Kapoor with his Yamaha MT-01.

Shahid Kapoor's Yamaha MT-01

Shahid Kapoor is also known for his love of bikes. He is seen these days in the Elf Moto commercial for bike engine oil. The Yamaha MT-01 is one amazing bike that has an engine displacement of 1670cc.

The power that the bike delivers is 88 bhp at 4750 rpm. The torque produced by the bike is 150.3 Nm at 3750 rpm. Top speed of this bike is 207 kmph and the engine is mated to a 5-speed wet clutch chain drive transmission. Though the bike has got mixed reviews Shahid Kapoor has his heart set on it.

Another leading star on the list of bikers is Sanjay Dutt. He owns, my personal favourite (not that it matters though...) Harley Davidson Fat Boy.

Fat Boy is one of the most well-known and loved bike from the eminent stables of Harley Davidson. The Fat Boy, available in India, is a 1690cc air cooled, twin cam engine.

The bike features the ABS (Anti-Lock Braking) system which is very rarely seen in bikes and usually entitles for 4-wheelers. The bike delivers 132 Nm of torque at 3250 rpm. It is available at Rs 19.45 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi).
