Readers' V-day recipes: Aloo Sandwich

We'd recently asked you to send in that one special recipe that you and your partner totally love. Indu Ramakrishna wrote in with her recipe of aloo sandwich that she and her husband would love eating anytime of the day!

 
Ingredients

  • 4 Bread slices
  • Butter
  • 2-3 boiled potatoes
  • Coriander leaves
  • Pudina leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 5-6 drops Lemon juice (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chat masala (optional)
  • Salt to taste

Method

  • Boil, peel and mash the potatoes well.
  • Mix all of the above ingredients Mashed potatoes, salt, chilli powder, garam masala powder, chat masala and adjust the masala according to your taste. Mix well.
  • Take a slice of bread and butter one side of it, put the masala on it and cover with another slice of bread.
  • Apply butter on the top of the covered bread so that it can toast and get golden brown.
  • Toast it in a sandwich maker
