Bajaj Auto recently unveiled the Discover 125 ST motorcycle in India. The Discover has got many changes along with a new engine and suspension, making it the most heavy weight commuter motorcycle in the 125cc segment.

So what has Bajaj changed in the new Discover?

Bajaj Auto has made some changes to the styling and is calling the new Discover as the Discover ST. ST stands for Sports Tourer.

The new discover incoporates corrugated fins in its design to give it better visual appeal and maintaining engine temperature.

The Discover is powered by a 125cc engine which uses air cooling and twin-spark along with 4-valves. This gives it a power output of 12.8 BHP and a peak torque output of 11 Nm.

The company has used ExhausTec and claims a top speed of 105 kmph on the Discover 125 ST.

The most significant changes to the Discover is the new instrument cluster, which has gone digital, while the Discover now features petal discs and a mono-shock rear suspension. Front uses a 200 mm disc, while the rear is a 130 mm drum.

The Discover weighs 124.5 kgs and has a fuel tank capacity of 10-litres. It will be available with electric and self start. The new Discover also features all new alloy wheels.

It will go on sale later this month and is expected to be priced around Rs 53,000.
