Priyadarshini Rao's collection was aptly titled 'Mineral'.

With an emphasis on pretty prints, colours, easy styling and several mix and match options, the collection was aimed for holidays -- at the resorts, mountains or beaches.

Rao played with neon, orange, green, mustard, purple, yellow and lemon.

One could see variety of fabrics and motifs blending with opaque creations that made interesting silhouettes.

The choice of textures was commendable.

Be it the crochet and laced look or summer friendly cottons, net and linen, the designs were simple and free flowing.

The designer used ample layering for her creations besides laced gilets over puff sleeved blouses teamed with denim shorts and matched baggy harems with loose tunics.

There were minis, laced skirts aptly teamed with ruffled belts at the waistlines, pencil skirts with tonal embroidery and drawstring blouses.

The idea of displaying double blouses revealed the designer's mastery over styling.

The choice of fabrics makes it just perfect for the season and would make you want to change into it during your next holiday trip.

Accessories were restricted to multi leather sandals and sling bags as bright stockings completed the look for some other designs.

Overall, the designer gets a thumbs up as the outfits ranged from folksy, urban, rustic and peasant look, while each of them promised to be customised according to the mood of the wearer and the occasion.
