Should diabetics eat fruits?

Diabetics can enjoy fruits that do not significantly affect blood glucose levels.

Fruits are packed with vitamins, minerals, and fiber and should be a part of a diabetic diet. Just be careful of the portions.

However, diabetics should steer clear of canned fruits, processed juices or dry fruits as they are packed with simple sugars.
