Apply for PhD at the IIT-Kharagpur

What

Applications are invited for admission to the PhD Programme of the Institute in the Spring Semester of 2012-2013 in all disciplines of Engineering & Technology, Science, Architecture & Regional Planning, Humanities & Social Sciences and Law.

Admission to reserved category candidates will be done as per Government of India notification.

A limited number of fellowships are available to carry out advanced research in all disciplines as mentioned above.

Who can apply

Interested candidates having a PhD degree may apply for the Post-Doctoral Fellowship.

How to apply

Interested candidates may apply online. Application fee is Rs 500 for General/OBC and Rs 250 for SC/ST candidates.

Women candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.

Important dates

The last date of receipt of completed application form is November 2, 2012.
