PICS: Bipasha, Zarine, Sidhartha stun at Bridal Week!

The last three days of Bridal Week, currently underway in Mumbai, have seen a lot of celebrities on the ramp, in addition to the luxurious splendour of ethnic, fusion and Western trousseaus.

Big names like Shantanu & Nikhil, Vikram Phadnis and Falguni & Shane Peacock have showcased their collections, with some of their favourite stars performing catwalking honours.

We start off with a glimpse of duo Meera and Muzaffar Ali's latest line 'Jamazeb', from their label Kotwari.

While the creations retained the designers' trademark elegant handcrafted feel, in a departure from the traditional, dramatic black numbers featuring beautiful cutwork opened the show.

Of course, they didn't forego the usual fare, presenting gorgeous lehengas featuring tasteful embellishments in a variety of pinks and blues, complemented by gold.

The broad palette was revealed in its entirety at the end of the show, with a few choice patterns in each becoming hue as Meera and Muzaffar Ali took to the ramp.

Anjalee & Arjun Kapoor's 'The Mogul Opera' offered both opera-style ball gowns and ethnic bridals -- from rosy, gargantuan gowns to exquisitely embroidered velour-trim lehengas, the variety was apparent.

In addition to the lovely bridal outfits, there were also dashing sherwanis for the grooms.

Bipasha Basu knocked everyone's socks off as she showstopped in a maroon and gold panelled jamevaar-embroidered corset and lehenga.

The talented duo accompanied her down the ramp to thunderous applause.

Ashima and Leena's 'Raag Rattan' collection was also well-received.

Rich fabrics and tasteful bling ensured that all eyes were on the models as they showed off an array of ethnicwear, including some stunning saris, seen here.

The lehengas were heavy, voluminous and eye-catching, infused with both contemporary trends and traditional feel.

Sufi singer Zila Khan accompanied Leena Singh down the runway to close the show; Ashima was missing in action.

Talented twosome Shantanu & Nikhil's 'Romantic Renaissance' opened with a bang -- Sidhartha Mallya was first on the runway in a superbly-tailored ethnic jacket and blue pants.

A rarity at India Bridal Fashion Week, Westernwear was a sizeable part of the line-up, for both men and women.

Lehengas did make an entrance, however, ranging from peach to vibrant blue and electric orange.

The designers were as well-dressed as their models when they stepped out alongside Sidhartha.

Another couturier who stepped it up with Western ensembles was Mandira Wirk; the very name of her collection 'Nights in Whites' gave the game away.

Bold gowns with cut-away panels and backless detailing took centrestage.

Applique work, sequins and even feminine accessories like parasols played a role in the showing.

Wirk's muse was none other than Malaika Arora Khan, who looked every inch the blushing bride as she made her way out in a jaw-dropping lace gown.

A jewellery line called Azva was displayed on Day Four, sponsored by the World Gold Council.

The catwalk queens were back in ethnicwear, showcasing precious accessories from necklaces to bangles and everything in between.

In between the gold-adorned beauties, a few male models also stepped out looking rather dapper -- all the outfits were the work of veteran designer Anita Dongre.

Newlyweds Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani were the showstoppers, following which Vipin Sharma, Director, Jewellery India at the World Gold Council joined them on the runway.

Vikram Phadnis' eagerly awaited line didn't disappoint -- it was full of his trademark glitz and glamour, and some of the designs early on in the show had a rather light, cocktail vibe.

When it came to the formal trousseau, he chose to go with the gargantuan trend for most lehengas, which ranged from understated to completely over the top.

When a mehendi-adorned Soha Ali Khan stepped out in the piece de resistance, it looked like she was wearing jewelled fabric, so detailed was the embroidery. She was joined shortly after by Phadnis.

Falguni & Shane Peacock's creations were donned by models channeling fierce goth-style makeup.

The collection itself, however, called 'The Peacock Bride in Paris', was vibrant, in citrus colours and featuring floor-sweeping dresses and fusion numbers.

There was a little something for everyone, from anarkalis to sexy drapes and opulent encrusted lehengas.

The duo had not one but two showstoppers -- Sarah-Jane Dias in a tassel-edged dress with fierce shoulders, and the voluptuous Zarine Khan in a fishtail red and gold design.

The Peacocks joined the two ladies in the limelight as the curtain came down on their showing.

And finally, there was Pallavi Jaikishan's line 'Ashrafiyan', which was divided into three distinct segments -- beautiful gold creations and saris formed the first two...

And the third comprised the doyen's exquisite lehengas, cholis and dupattas, on which she has built her reputation over the years.

Humble and unassuming, the diminutive Jaikishan stepped out as her presentation at the Bridal Week drew to a close.
